Claude Morgan is a former print and broadcast journalist. He has written numerous articles about art and architecture, politics, the environment, and technology for such magazines and newspapers as The Progressive, New Scientist, and the San Francisco Chronicle. His broadcast work has aired on ABC Radio, Maine Public Radio, and National Public Radio. More recently, he anchored the afternoon and evening news at News Radio WMTW in Portland. He holds a BA in Asian History from Tufts University and is currently completing his MA in Modern European History there. In the 1990s, he worked as a commercial diver in the Gulfs of Maine and Mexico. He now works as a financial investigator for Yake and Associates in Kennebunk, Maine. He currently resides on Preble Street in the Willard Beach neighborhood.
